Happy Wednesday everyone! The week is halfway over and it’s time for another monthly hop with the Paper Crafting Monthly Blog Hop group!
Spring is here and it’s time to celebrate! Our theme this month covers a few different themes from Mother’s Day, to Thinking of You, to female oriented projects. For my project, I wanted to focus on a Thinking of You project and using the Lilypad Lake bundle!
For me, thinking of you cards need to be simple and easy to create so the message isn’t overwhelming. I started with a Tranquil Tide cardstock base and layered using the Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper.
I stamped the sentiment in Fresh Fig ink on Powder Pink cardstock and using the framelits I cut the sentiment out. I stamped the crane on Watercolor paper using Memento ink and picked up my Tranquil Tide ink with my Aqua Painter. To finish it off, I used the Braided Linen Thread to add some texture!
