Happy Thursday crafters! The week is almost over and it’s time for another month with the Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop Group!
Learning new techniques is always something I enjoy doing. I like trying new things out and seeing how they work and always wanting to improve my skills, so this month’s theme of showcasing our favorite technique was something I was looking forward to! For this month, I showcased the dry embossing technique using the Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder!
This technique is such a fun but very easy thing to create for any level of crafter. I started off with a Fresh Fig cardstock base. Taking Powder Pink ink I tapped it to the inside of the top half of the embossing folder. Once I had the right amount of ink on there I wanted, I used Whisper White cardstock and ran it through the Big Shot machine.
It’s that simple! The ink transfers onto the paper and the embossed image transfers as well. I used the Stitched Shapes framelits with Bermuda Bay cardstock to cut out the circle and the Well Said bundle and Fresh Fig cardstock and ink to create the sentiment.
