Stampin’ Friends Blog Hop March 2019 – Easter Pastels

Happy Thursday everyone! The weekend is almost here and it’s time for another month with the Stampin’ Friends Blog Hop group!

Easter is right around the corner and this month we are showing off creations with pastels!  Our subtles collection is the perfect starting place for any great project and looking at the colors its a great place to get a starting point for any project.

For my project this month, I wanted to use the Pizza Boxes as my box and make some very simple 3″x 3″ cards.  On the pizza box, I used So Saffron card stock layered with Petal Pink and Whisper White.  Using the Painted Harvest stamp set, I inked using Soft Sea Foam and Pear Pizzaz and layered the two colors together.  For some small flowers on the wreath, I stamped with Calypso Coral.
For the cards I used Whisper White cardstock cut to 6″ x 3″ and scored at the 3 inches mark.  I stamped the image using the Love What You Do stamp set and used So Saffron, Petal Pink, and Pear Pizzaz as the background and Tuxedo Black Memento ink for the sentiment.

The ribbon is a simple technique I love to do!  I colored the Silver Edged Metallic ribbon using my Dark Petal Pink Stampin’ Blend marker and it gives it a whole new look!
