Stampers By The Dozen Blog Hop August 2018 – Bloggers Choice!

Happy weekend!  The month is already halfway over and it’s time for another round of the Stampers By The Dozen Blog Hop!

For our theme this month, it’s Bloggers Choice!  This means it is up to each blogger on what theme or technique they want to highlight and showcase.  For my project, I wanted to highlight new products from the upcoming Holiday Catalog.  I received my Demonstrator preorder on Monday and I am so excited to showcase the new Country Home stamp set and Country Lane Designer Series Paper.
While this stamp set isn’t normally something I would gravitate to as country themes aren’t my style, I really loved the pitcher and milk jug and this stamp set is perfect to use with the Stamparatus to line up the flowers and pitcher, plus the Stampin’ Blends are a great way to color in everything.

I started with a Mango Melody cardstock base and layered using the Country Lane Designer Series Paper.  I stamped the pitcher and flowers on Whisper White cardstock and colored with Mango Melody, Mint Macaron, Blackberry Bliss, and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends.  The Mango Melody and Blackberry Bliss are new additions to the Holiday catalog!  I stamped my sentiment using Mango Melody ink and for a subtle hint of shine, I used the Silver Metallic Thread, which is so delicate.

  1. Beautiful Fall card design. Love this new suite from the Holiday catalog. The colors in the designer series are so rich and perfect for Fall. 🙂
