Sunday is here and with it brings another round of the Kre8tors Monthly Blog Hop!
Our theme this month can be a tough subject to create a card for. Sympathy cards have to be my least favorite card to create. Not because they aren’t beautiful, but because someone is hurting from the loss of a loved one. These cards are always an honor to make for someone.
For my project this month, I wanted to highlight the Dandelion Wishes stamp set. This set is the perfect choice for a sympathy card. It’s thoughtful, beautiful, and has simple sayings that convey a loving message for sympathy but for other occasions as well.
Simple is exactly what a sympathy card needs and this card fits that perfectly. This card would be great for either gender with the neutral tones of the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper. This paper has accents of shine to it so its a great addition to this card.
I used the Tufted Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder on Mint Macaron card stock. This paired together with a Blackberry Bliss creates a pop of color. I used Very Vanilla card stock and stamped using Blackberry Bliss ink with the dandelion stamp and stamped using Mint Macaron ink for the sentiment. As my finishing touch, I used a Mint Macaron Faceted Dot to add some bling to the dandelion.
