Wednesday evening is here! It’s time for another round of the Paper Pumpkin Pop Up Blog Hop!
This month we are highlighting July’s kit called Picnic Paradise! I loved this kit and it’s very much my style for crafting. The kit for this month includes everything to make twelve 3inx3in sized cards with coordinating envelopes, and supplies to make four cute little baskets.
While I loved the design of the small cards, they cannot be mailed in the US without putting them into a bigger envelope or attaching them to something else. I really liked the pre-printed design on the small envelopes so I decide to pull one apart and use just the front. I stamped in Soft Suede, which is the color of the Stampin’ Spot included in the kit, and stamped the For You sentiment in the same color.
The tissue paper included in the kit was a perfect background for a card but since it was very thin, it was hard to make the color pop on the Blueberry Bushel card base. I taped the tissue paper to a piece of Whisper White card stock and the color popped out! I sponged the sentiment using Poppy Parade ink with my Stampin’ Sponge and a simple ribbon with the Metallic Edged ribbon added the perfect finishing simple touch.
