Thursday is finally here and the it’s almost the weekend and time for another round of the Paper Pumpkin Pop Up Blog Hop!
Love is in the air with this month’s kit and I was so excited to receive this kit in the mail. The theme of the kit this month is coordinating with the Animal Outing bundle from the Annual Catalog and it’s one of my favorite sets in that catalog.
Creating alternate projects to this month’s kit was so easy as the kangaroo and chameleon are so cute! While I love the treat packaging that was included in the kit, I don’t really have the need for 24 pillow boxes since I don’t have kids, so this month, I wanted to make something small that can be given to anyone!
I love these cute notecards! I started with the Whisper White Notecards and Envelopes set and layered with watercolor paper. Using the Pool Party and Lemon Lime Twist inks, I picked up the color with my Aqua Painter for the washed backgrounds. Using the pillow boxes, I cut one up for the strips of pink heart background paper.
I used the Lemon Lime Twist cardstock and the Stitched Shapes circle die for the background on the chameleon card and used the punch pieces from the kit for the kangaroo, chameleon, and pink and blue hearts. I love the pink and heart small hearts that came with the kit! I wish I could get more of those.
