Happy Wednesday! I can’t believe that September is here already. Where has the year gone?! It’s time for another monthly hop of the Inspire, Create & Share hop group!
This month is all about punches! With more and more dies coming into our catalog sometimes our punches can be pushed to the side. I love the theme this month as I was able to utilize two punches into my project and incorporated some new items from the Holiday Catalog. For my project, I wanted to highlight two of my favorite punches, the Starburst punch and the Tailored Tag punch.
This card is a simple project that can be completed by any skilled stamper. I used Whisper White card stock as my base and layered using Tranquil Tide card stock. Isn’t that new Designer Series Paper beautiful?! That is from the new Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper package. This paper is special as it is shimmery on both sides and has a bold design on one side and a simpler one on the other. I love that it can be used for multiple occasions and isn’t the typical “Christmas” pattern.
Using the Starburst punch, I punched out Petal Pink paper and stamped in Tranquil Tide with the Love What You Do stamp set. I used the Tailored Tag punch and sponged in Petal Pink ink for a subtle tint of color. A little finishing touch of the Silver Metallic Edged Ribbon and Artisan Pearls give a soft finish.
