Friday is finally here with the weekend right around the corner and it’s time for an extraordinary hop with the Global Stamping Friends!
For this special hop this month, we are getting spooky and scary with our Halloween themed projects! This month, I wanted to highlight the Cat Punch from the Annual Catalog, something that might be overlooked since the Holiday Catalog showcases so many great Halloween sets.
The Cat Punch is a great and versatile punch that can be used for many occasions. I wanted to highlight a few more colors than the traditional Pumpkin Pie and Basic Black and added in some Granny Apple Green and Rich Razzleberry. I started with a Basic Black card stock base and layered using Pumpkin Pie. Using a piece of Watercolor Paper, I colored using the Rich Razzleberry Watercolor Pencil, and using the Aqua Painter made it into a watercolor wash. The black dots are from the Birthday Backgrounds stamp set and easy to create the spotted look.
The Lined Alphabet stamp set and coordinating dies are perfect for creating any sentiment you want! I stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them in with the Dark Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blend marker. The cat needed it’s own Halloween costume so I used the black rhinestones from the Faceted Gems package to create a cute little collar for the cat!
