Happy November! I cannot believe how fast this year is flying by and how it’s time for another monthly hop with the We Create Bloggers!
The month of November is all about giving thanks here in the US and that is exactly what we are doing for our projects this month, showing our gratitude! Thank you cards are my favorite cards to create as you can really showcase your gratitude to someone by making them a handmade card.
I wanted to use a stamp I haven’t used in a while for my project this month. I found a similar design to this on Pinterest by Brandy Cox but I wanted to change it up for this hop. The Love What You Do stamp set is perfect for creating thank you cards!
Gratitude cards can be in any color scheme you want and I like my cards to be bright and bold! I started with a Bermuda Bay card stock base. Using my Stamparatus, I used the hinge step technique and moving down the steps, I stamped the sentiment with Melon Mambo ink. This card was so simple to make and would be great in a variety of color schemes!
For the flowers, I stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and filled in the petals with Lemon Lime Twist ink and stamped the thank you sentiment once more in Lemon Lime Twist. The Bermuda Bay Mini Striped Ribbon is a perfect choice to tie everything together!
