Happy October everyone! It’s time for the spooky season to begin and time for another round of the We Create Blog Hop!
This month is all about the ghosts and ghouls as we create projects to celebrate Halloween! I love Halloween and making projects for it is always so much fun. For my project this month, I wanted to take a stamp set that is officially for Christmas and turn it into a Halloween set. The Farmhouse Christmas stamp set is perfect just for that with it’s house stamp!
The Farmhouse Christmas stamp set is perfect because the house stamp can be used for many different occasions. For my project, I started with a Basic Black cardstock base and layered using Gorgeous Grape and Granny Apple Green. I used the Gorgeous Grape Stampin’ Write Marker to create the splotches in the background with no additional tools needed!
I used the Pick a Pattern Washi Tape for the background to create a diagonal accent across the background. I stamped the house on Basic Black cardstock using the Whisper White ink and cut it out with the coordinating framelit dies. The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set. This set is amazing for so many different occasions and a great set for anyone to have in their stash!

Simply gorgeous! Great job!
Wonderful Halloween card. Love the Washi Tape and the house looks great. 🙂
This is awesome! I love how you used the washi tape! Looks like trick or treat road. You could even add a few spooky black trees. Love this Halloween color combo.
Love the Splotches on the green paper and the spooky house. Reminds me of the house from the Movie Monster House.
This is great! I love the colors and that you made the house Halloweeny! 🙂
Awesome job with the washi. It took me a moment to figure out where you used it. Love your card.
Great Halloween card. I have this set and it's waiting to get inky. You have inspired me to just do it! Enjoy your day!
