Paper Crafting Monthly Blog Hop August 2019 – Celebrating Birthdays!

Wednesday is here crafters, and it’s time for another month with the Paper Crafting Monthly Blog Hop group!

This month’s theme is all about celebrating birthdays!  Creating handmade cards to give to someone for their birthday is one of my favorite things to do.  A handmade cards shows the person how much you care and that you took the time to create for them!  For my project this month, I used the Beautiful Friendship stamp set.
The Beautiful Friendships stamp set is such an easy set to use to create amazing floral projects.  Want to see a step by step on how I created these projects?  I did a Facebook Live last week with everything you need to know!  Watch the video part one here and part two here!

I started my first card off by using Thick Whisper White cardstock and layered using Night of Navy cardstock and the Brights 6×6 Designer Series Paper.  I stamped my flower first in Bermuda Bay, then framed around it with other florals using Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody, and Flirty Flamingo.  I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy and used my Night of Navy Stampin’ Blend to color the rhinestones in!

For the second card, I used Thick Whisper White cardstock again and layered with Daffodil Delight cardstock.  I stamped the hydrangea stamp first in Pretty Peacock, then Bermuda Bay, and last in Coastal Cabana moving from left to right across my paper.  The sentiment is stamped in Daffodil Delight and I used my Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend to change the color of the Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon!
