Friday is the best day of the week and it’s finally here and coming with it is this month’s Global Stampin’ Friends Blog Hop!
This month is all about celebrating those very special birthdays that each and every one of us celebrate! I love making birthday cards. They are the most popular card I make and I love being able to create something handmade for someone I care dearly for. For my project, I wanted to CASE (create and share everything) a brand new card from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog that debuted this week!
I love the southwestern feel of this stamp set and paper! I started off with a Mint Macaron cardstock base and layered using the Mosaic Mood Specialty Designer Series Paper. This paper is amazing! One side has a shiny textured size and the other is smooth.
Isn’t that bird cute! I fussy cut one of the hummingbirds out from the paper using my Paper Snips. I stamped my sentiment using Crushed Curry ink and used the coordinating punch and Terracotta Tile Ink on Terracotta Tile cardstock for the layer. A little bit of the Braided Linen Thread is the perfect embellishment!
