July 2019 Kre8tors Hop: Florals

Happy Sunday stampers!  It's a lazy day here in my house in sunny Tucson while I try to avoid the blazing sun outside.  Luckily the craft room was calling and it's time for another hop with the Kre8tors Blog Hop group!

Our theme this month is all about flowers and floral.  Normally my projects don't tend to be very floral in their them but every once in a while it's fun to create something with them.  For my project, I chose to highlight the Mosaic Mood Specialty Designer Series Paper!

I started off with a Garden Green cardstock base and layered with Blushing Bride cardstock and Watercolor Paper.  These two colors coordinate with the Designer Series Paper as well as the Crushed Curry watercolor wash I added to the background.

I used and Early Espresso circle cut out using the Stitched Shapes Dies and I hand cut the flower from the Designer Series Paper.  I love this side of the paper as it has a glossy feel to the white sections of the tiles and it looks so pretty!

My sentiment is from the Healing Hugs stamp set stamped in Early Espresso ink and I feel it fits the card perfectly!

Make sure to continue on with our hop to see all the other great projects.  Next up is Janey Backer!  Her blog can be found HERE or by clicking the next button below!
