Happy Friday crafters! I’m excited the weekend is finally here and it’s time for another month with the Stamp N Hop blog hop group!
Our theme this month is all about Casing the Annual Catalog! CASEing stands for Create and Share Everything aka take a photo of a project and while using the same elements, make it your own! For my project this month, I wanted to use the Ride with Me Stamp set and used inspiration from page 55 of the catalog!
I started with a cardstock base of Pretty Peacock and used the 2019-2021 6×6 In Color Designer Series Paper for the patterned background. Using watercolor paper and the Rectangle Stitched Dies, I cut my truck base out and stamped using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
I love this truck! Isn’t it so cute!? I colored it in using Daffodil Delight ink and my Aqua Painter pen and used Lovely Lipstick Stampin’ Blends marker and Dark Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends marker for the balloons and wheels. I stamped my sentiment using Pool Party cardstock and Pretty Peacock ink.
While there are coordinating dies for the truck (and they create an amazing little truck!) I hand cut the balloons and truck wheel wells out. To finish out the project I used the Pretty Peacock 1/2″ Scalloped Linen Ribbon behind the focal point!
