April 2020 Kre8tors Hop: Spring!

Happy Sunday everyone!  While the weekend may be almost over, first it's time for another month with the Kre8tors Blog Hop group!

Spring is in the air its perfect as our theme this month!  Tucson's spring means 80 degree weather, lots of sun, and blooming flowers.  For my project this month I wanted to highlight a new stamp set that available this month but coming in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog, Ornate Style!

The thing about this set that drew me in is that its perfect for water coloring!  I started my project off with Gold Foil Edged Card and layered using Bermuda Bay embossed with the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder.  Using Gold Embossing Powder, I heat set the image and colored it in with the Watercolor Pencils, first assortment.  A simple sentiment from the Free As a Bird stamp set inked in Crushed Curry was perfect!

Make sure to continue on with our hop to see all the other great projects.  Next up is my good friend Janey Backer!  Her blog can be found HERE or by clicking the next button below!
