Spring is in the air (although it's already 95 degrees in Tucson 😲) and this month's theme is all about the florals. Normally I don't create too much with florals so it was nice to get out of my comfort zone and work with a stamp set that I hadn't inked yet. Healing Hugs is a great set for creating those hard to make cards, sympathy and get well soon.

I started my project off with using Mint Macaron cardstock and stamped the background using Mint Macaron ink. I layered my sentiment piece with Whisper White cardstock and using the Bokeh Dots stamp set (again admitting I hadn't inked this one before either) I stamped in So Saffron ink.

The Healing Hugs stamp set is a Distinktive Stamp set meaning the images give you a photo realistic image when stamped. I used Petal Pink ink to stamp my flower and cut out the shape and popped it up with Stampin' Dimensionals. To finalize the flower, I used some Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to give it some bling and to tie it all together, the Petal Pink/Whisper White Variegated Ribbon fits right in!
