We Create In Color 2017-2019 Blog Hop

Happy April Fool's day everyone!  Today is all about the tricks but there's not tricks here with the We Create Blog Hop group!
Now that Sale-A-Bration is over, it's time to start thinking about the retirement of the 2017-2019 In Colors.  I know I will be SUPER sad to see some of these colors go!  I have loved the bright and bold colors of Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist and these colors paired together look amazing.

For my project this month, I wanted to highlight these two colors together along with the Sweetest Thing stamp set!

Bold and bright, just like my stampin' style!  I started with a Berry Burst cardstock base and layered with Lemon Lime Twist and Basic Black cardstock layered using the Rectangle Stitched Shaped Framelits.  Next I used the Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper for a pop of the Lemon Lime Twist.

I haven't used the Lined Alphabet Bundle as much as I have wanted to so spelling out sweet was a great choice to use this set on.  I stamped the letters on Berry Burst cardstock using Berry Burst ink for the tone on tone look.  The wishes sentiment is from the Well Written Framelits set and comes in a bundle with a stamp set but on my card I just used the framelit!

  4. I love this card! All of the elements were made for each other. I need to get those Well Written framelits. It seems like those could be really useful. I love the font of the word sweet too. What a perfect pairing.

  5. Simply Sweet. Lemon lime and berry put together just pop. I imagine the lemon lime and berry candies in the jar taste pretty good too.
