I can’t believe tomorrow is the last day of January already! Where has the time gone so far this month and this year! Month month down in 2014 and less than eleven to go to start thinking about your Holiday cards! This weeks challenge over at ‘Tis the Season is all about non traditional colors and is a color challenge!
I can admit Marina Mist is not one of my favorite colors that Stampin’ Up offers. For my project, I probably used the second sheet of Marina Mist from my starter kit that I purchased when I became a demo 3 years ago. Its not bright and cheery like I like my colors to be. So this challenge was exactly that, a challenge for me. I wanted something simple, easy to recreate come the holidays and when we are making mass amounts of cards but still has that “pop”.
Heres what I came up with:
While the optional trimming was brads, I didn’t have any in the color choices for this week. I thought the pearls were the closest thing I had to whisper white and they make the card seem more sophisticated.
