Hello readers! Happy Thursday! Its almost the weekend and time for another challenge over at ‘Tis the Season Christmas Card Blog Challenge! This week, we are trying a new challenge. It is an inspiration challenge, meaning you can use anything from the picture to create your project like layout, colors, design…anything!
This week I chose to go off of color. From this photo, I am picking up gold tones which is perfect since the new Stampin’ Up Occasions catalog is all about gold and silver tones! I see colors of Sahara Sand, Early Espresso, Smoky Slate and Baked Brown Sugar, so those are the colors I used for my project!
I spot some new products! That embossing folder is from the Sale-A-Bration catalog that starts January 28th. For every $50 you spend, you get to choose an item for FREE out of the catalog! There are some great things this year but this embossing folder is one of my favorites!
For the card, I used Very Vanilla as the base and Sahara Sand for my embossed layer. Adding some sparkle with the Gold Glimmer Paper I added some shine. For the tag, I used Early Espresso paper and the Chalk Talk framelits. I tied it all together with some Smoky Slate Chevron ribbon and some of the new gold bakers twine. The stamp is inked in Baked Brown Sugar and I used the new Perfect Pennants stamp set from the Occasions catalog.
