Good morning readers! Its finally the Christmas season and finally the perfect time to make Christmas cards. I love working on challenge design teams. They make me think outside of the traditional box and let me get really creative…which is exactly what I did this week! Now when we think of Christmas we think of reds, greens, and pretty cards. This weeks challenge was to use Midnight Muse, Rich Razzleberry, and Old Olive. Together, these would not bring to mind Christmas but this was the perfect challenge to do so!
I love making pretty cards. They are great, but sometimes you just want to get grungy. I wanted to do a Christmas card that looked nothing like a traditional card! Heres what I came up with:
Its perfect. Doesn’t look ANYTHING like a Christmas card huh?! You can even use this great layout for any season by swapping out the sentiment and tree for a heart, or star, basically anything to change the occasion! Try it out and see what you come up with!
