Technique Tuesday- Nontraditional Christmas

Hello readers! Its Tuesday and another round of Technique Tuesday is in order! Today’s technique is different than anything I have done before, a nontraditional colored Christmas card.

We all think of red and green when we think of Christmas…but why does it have to be just two colors for our cards?  Why do we limit ourselves and and not try something new?  That’s exactly what I wanted to do.

I used my Stampin’ Up color coach to help me find colors that would go together.  This tool is great for if you are in a stamping up and need some quick color inspiration.

I finally decided to use some colors in a combo I haven’t used before: Concord Crush (a retired 2010-2012 in color), Daffodil Delight, and Tangerine Tango.  While these colors may bring to mind Halloween, I used them in a Christmas theme with the Pennant Punch and coordinating stamp set.

I love the way it turned out! Its festive in its own way!  Thanks for reading today!
