Hello readers! Long time no blog huh?! I know I have been missing lately but I have been so busy with work, volunteering, and getting ready for a craft fair that a lot of my time was taken up…but Im here now!
Today I am going to share one of my swaps I made for Stampin’ Up’s 2013 European Convention that was held in Manchester, England in November. I loved convention. It was amazing! I have been to US convention before and being at a smaller setting like UK convention was, made the experience that much better. I was able to mingle with top UK demos, talk to people from the US head office (who had actually heard of my name!) and spend time with people in a more calm environment. I will definitely be back next year in Brussels!
Here is a card I made for general swapping!
I LOVE the way this turned out! I used the embossed Designer Series Paper and inked up my sponges with blank ink to create the background paper. Since the paper is embossed it resists the ink and the music notes stand out. I love the vintage feel of the whole card which works great with the music player. This seemed by far one of my most popular cards and all 12 went VERY quickly!
Stay turned for more posts where I will be sharing my last swap I made and also pictures and highlights from my trip!
Beautiful card! let me know if I can help with you registering next year!x
