Happy Thursday eveyone! The week is almost over and it’s time for another month with the Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop Group!
Temperatures are finally starting to warm up a little and spring feels like it’s right around the corner and Easter will be here before you know it! This month we are celebrating the spring holiday in our projects and I knew I wanted to showcase a set that wasn’t traditionally thought of for Easter.
Stampin’ Up has so many floral sets that will work perfectly but the Sheltering Tree stamp set is perfect for all seasonal stamping!
I started my project out with a Pear Pizzaz cardstock base and layered with So Saffron and Very Vanilla cardstock. I wanted to show a springtime landscape with the tree and used Blushing Bride ink to stamp the flowers on the tree that was stamped with Soft Suede ink and a Pear Pizzaz ground layer.
The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings from the Occasions catalog and is a perfect sentiment set for any stamper to have in their stash as it comes with so many different sayings.
I finished off the card with the Calypson Coral 3/8″ ribbon, punched out the sentiment with the Classic Label Punch, and used the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls!
