Happy Wednesday readers! Today I’m starting my 10 year anniversary vacation with my husband and I’m so excited! While our anniversary is tomorrow, today it’s time for a new blog hop I am apart of, Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop!

This month is all about birthday celebrations! Having a handmade birthday card on hand is always a great thing to have. They show the recipient that you took the extra time to create for something special for them and that you put thought into the card.
For my project this month, I wanted to highlight one of my new favorite stamp sets from the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog. When I received my catalog and flipped through the pages, Wonderful Moments was one set that jumped out at me that quickly became one of my top must have items.

The set is perfect for so many different occasions. I love how you can use it for birthdays, weddings, and baby showers plus the sentiments are great for many different cards.
On my birthday card, I started with a Very Vanilla card stock base and layered it with Blackberry Bliss embossed using the Tufted Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. This folder is so elegant and gives such a beautiful texture to any project. I stamped her using my Stamparatus tool in Tuxedo Black Memeto Ink to ensure the balloons and gift bag were stamped exactly in the right position without the paper moving around.

With the introduction of the Stampin’ Blends, I feel like my Watercolor Pencils weren’t getting enough love and use so I colored her in using them and softened them up with my Blender Pen. I used the Classic Label Punch to punch out the sentiment that was stamped using Bermuda Bay ink and for final touches, I used Pearl Basic Jewels and the Metallic Ribbon Combo pack for a touch of softness.
