Stampers By The Dozen September 2018 – Fall Florals

The weekend is finally here and it’s time for another round of the Stampers By The Dozen Blog Hop!

With the weather cooling off (just about everywhere except Arizona) it’s time to start thinking about fall and everything nice that comes along with it.  While we might not experience the cooler temps here, this month we are focusing on fall florals for our projects.  I wanted to highlight a stamp set that might have gotten placed in the back of the stamp shelf and the annual catalog, Painted Harvest.
This month I wanted to showcase the colors of Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, and Crushed Curry.  These colors are the perfect blend for any fall project.  I started with a Cherry Cobbler card stock base layered with Crumb Cake.  Next I used a piece of Designer Series Paper from the Festive Farmhouse package.  This set of paper is perfect as while it has some traditional Christmas colors, it can be used for many different occasions.
I stamped my image first with Daffodil Delight ink and layered with Crushed Curry for the tone difference in the sunflower.  I stamped the center of the sunflower with Early Espresso and my sentiment in Crushed Curry.  The Braided Linen Trim is new from the Holiday Catalog and goes perfect with any fall themed project.
