Friday is here, the weekend is coming, and it’s time for another round of the Stamp N’ Hop Blog Hop!
Our theme this month is all about casing the annual catalog. For those that are unsure about what casing is, it is really spelled CASEing and it stands for Copy, and Share Everything. CASEing is a great way for those who are new to stamping to get some ideas for creating projects. Pinterest is a wonderful resource to get ideas for creating. The number one thing with CASEing is to give credit to the person who originally created the project.
This month I chose the Abstract Impressions stamp set and this photo from the Annual Catalog.
While I love the original photo and the colors that were used, I definitely wanted to show how you can create the same card but use different colors and paper to get the same layout design. I started with a Fresh Fig card stock base and layered using the Tranquil Textures Designer Series Paper.
Next using Whisper White card stock, I stamped the flowers in Soft Seafoam, Mint Macaron, and Balmy Blue. The sentiment is stamped in Fresh Fig and punched out with the Tailored Tag Punch. This is a perfect card for any beginner stamper and can be stepped up for those who want to add more embellishments!

Beautiful colour choice Anastasia. I love the idea of swapping colours (as you'll see in my blog 😉)
