Happy Tuesday crafters! I can’t believe that January is almost over and it’s time for another month with the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop group!
Love is in the air with this month’s kit as we celebrate Valentine’s Day with this cute bee themed kit!
I am loving this months kit and it’s coordinating colors of Mint Macaron, Highland Heather, Crushed Curry, and Rococo Rose! For my project this month, I wanted to use all those colors along with doing a watercolor wash for a background.
Isn’t it beee-utiful! I started my project off with a Mint Macaron cardstock base and layered using Crushed Curry cardstock. Next using watercolor paper and Rococo Rose reinker paired with my Aqua Painter, I taped off the edges using washi tape to ensure I had a crisp line and create the square image.
Once dried, the washi tape peels of easily to reveal the nice lines!
Other than the heart punch, Rococo Rose ink, and Highland Heather ink pad, everything else was from the kit. I love how easily the kits can be altered with just a few additional items!

I love the bright colors of your project. Doing the watercolor wash on the layer gives your project such dimension. Love it!
That's a neat trick with the watercoloring.
