Happy Tuesday crafters! I can’t believe that June is almost over and it’s time for another month with the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop group!
June’s kit is another kit that is right on the theme target! This month’s theme of Box of Sunshine is the perfect thing during Covid. What is a box of sunshine? Its a way to share joy with others by filling a box with yellow goodies and gifting it to someone. The cards in this month’s kit are beautiful and I was so excited to open mine up when I received it!
For my project this month, I wanted to try to highlight as many of the project kit pieces as I possibly could, but then add a little touch of extra to it. I started off with the starburst paper and using Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody, and Poppy Parade inks, I used my Stampin’ Sponges and rubbed ink over the paper. Due to the gold foil, that part resists the ink so only the white paper was covered!
Next using the sun punch out pieces, its hard to tell by the photo but I used Shimmery Crystal Effects on them so that they would look shiny on the card. I stamped my sentiment using Mango Melody ink and finished with the iridescent sequins, which are perfect to add more shine!
