Happy Tuesday crafters! I can’t believe that September is almost over and it’s time for another month with the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop group!
If you know me, you will know that every September 1st, I decorate my house with all my pumpkin decorations. I love fall décor and while it’s still 100 degrees here in Arizona, I grew up in the midwest and Fall was so beautiful with it’s changing leaves. I was so excited as this month’s box is called Hey Pumpkin and features these really cute cracker boxes!
Now as someone without any kids, I didn’t really need 20 boxes to hand out but I always need some fun cards for the season, so I created an alternate project using the bits and pieces from the kit and the Plaid Tidings 6″x6″ Designer Series Paper.
I started my project off with a Whisper White card stock base and layered with Pumpkin Pie card stock. I love the black and white plaid from the Designer Series Paper and it pairs so well with this kit. The witch hat, orange strips, sentiment, and white scalloped piece are all from the kit. How easy is that! I used the included Basic Black twine and added my own Rhinestone Basic Jewel and a little bit of Wink of Stella Glitter Brush across the ribbon on the hat to finish off my easy alternate project!
