Happy Saturday readers! Today is a busy day for me as I host my 2018-2019 Annual Catalog bingo event but first, I bring to you another round of the Paper Pumpkin Pop Up Blog Hop!
For this month’s hop, we are highlighting the June 2018 kit titled Broadway Star! This month’s kit is a special one as it coordinates with the Broadway Bound suite from the annual catalog.
While I don’t have the Broadway Bound suite (yet….) I wanted to focus my alternate project this month on gift packaging. Like I said, today I am hosting my annual catalog bingo event and during it, I give away a great goody bag of items to all attendees. The Striped Treat Bags coordinate great with this Paper Pumpkin kit!
The gold stripes go perfect along with the Gold Metallic Edged ribbon. I colored the ribbon with my Lovely Lipstick Stampin’ Write marker. The Stampin’ Spot that comes with the kit this month is Lovely Lipstick and I used the stamp set to create the patterned background on the small flagged banner in the background.
Using Lemon Lime Twist ink, I stamped the Congrats sentiment along the bag and used the Classic Label Punch to punch out the So Proud of You sentiment. The pearls and gold Hooray are part of the kit and easy to highlight with the black background! Tying everything together I used a Gold Library Clip at the top!
