This month we are focusing on a card sketch!  For our projects, we will be using the template below as a guide and inspiration for our creations.

For my card, I wanted to use one of my new favorite color combinations of Coastal Cabana, Lemon Lime Twist, and Flirty Flamingo.  I took the card sketch and loosely changed a few things but it does still fall over the guidelines of the sketch.  I used the Stitched Shapes dies matted with the Layering Squares die to make my focal point in the middle.
Peeking out from behind in Lemon Lime Twist, the cardstock is embossed with the new Hexagon Dynamic embossing folder.  I really like the way this pattern can be used because both sides can be utilized for a totally different look on embossing.  I used my Stampin’ Sponge to sponge the Flirty Flamingo ink on the background and used the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set for the crosses and the bow.  While I didn’t use my Stamparatus on the bow, this tool would have been great to line up the two toned bow stamps perfectly.  A little bling is brought in the Glitter Enamel Dots to finish it out.
Make sure to continue on with our hop to see all the other great projects.  Next up is Becky Whatley Browning showcasing her card sketch project.  Her blog can be found HERE or by clicking the next button below!

  1. Lemon Lime Twist and Coastal Cabana is one of my favorite color combinations! But what I really love about your card is the pop of Flirty Flamingo peeking out from behind the square! 🙂
