Happy Wednesday crafters! It’s the first Wednesday of the month and time for another month with the Inspire, Create & Share Blog Hop group!
This month is all about celebrating spooky and what goes with that more than a Halloween themed color challenge! I was so honored to create this color challenge icon for the team and use this as the inspiration for my project!
Bright and bold just how I like my Halloween cards! I started my project off with a Basic Black cardstock base and layered with strips of Granny Apple Green, Pumpkin Pie, and Gorgeous Grape. I cut the strips to be .5″ wide and arranged them into a fun background pattern! Isn’t that metallic paper awesome?! That’s the new Mercury Glass Acetate paper that’s in the Holiday Catalog. I love the way it looks against black paper and how it makes it pop!
I used Silver Foil paper for the back of my sentiment and the coordinating Spooktacular Bash stamp set and Ornate Frames Dies and used Gorgeous Grape ink for my sentiment. As a final touch I used the Glitter Enamel Dots in Granny Apple Green and Silver Metallic Thread to add a little bit of texture!
