Happy Sunday everyone! Today I’ll be kicking off my Inked Occasions series! I have four projects for this week to showcase with the April 2025 Inked Occasions Paper Pumpkin kit!
The April 2025 Paper Pumpkin kit caught my eye because of its watercolor bright images and gold accents! Paper Pumpkin kits are a great way to create projects with no additional supplies needed except your favorite adhesive and I don’t have to design anything, it’s all done for me!
For my project today, I wanted to use the project pieces and create a framed art piece. I found this cute frame at Hobby Lobby a while ago and I paired it with the hydrangea stamp from the Thankful Garden stamp set (which I featured a few weeks ago on another Maker’s Monday live event).
I used watercolor pencils and Staz-On ink to create the purple hydrangea. The highlight and shadow was easy to create on it by using lighter and darker colors like Granny Apple Green and Garden Green pencils on the stem!
Each week, I focus on one bundle or stamp set to design with and I’ll create three different projects during my Facebook Live.
