It’s the first Wednesday of the month (man time flies!) and its time for another edition of the Inspire, Create, and Share Blog Hop! The weather is finally starting to cool off here in Tucson and for this month’s theme we are sharing cards that are inspired by the changing of seasons…Fall!
I love fall. I grew up living in the Midwest where the leaves would change colors, we would get to bundle up in sweaters, scarves, boots, flannel, and enjoy hot drinks with friends. While Tucson doesn’t really get “fall” since the desert is pretty brown already, but I still love the season.
For my project this month, I wanted to highlight the Colorful Seasons stamp set. This set is perfect for year round use as there is a stamp for all four different seasons! I chose to use the leaf stamp and use it out using the Seasonal Layers dies that coordinate with this stamp set. The Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack is perfect for this fall card as it definitely ties together with the Cable Knit Embossing Folder.
Doesn’t that colored leaf look great? I used the NEW Stampin’ Blends alcohol ink markers in Pumpkin Pie to color and blend the lighter and darker shades together. To tie everything all together, I used copper washi tape from the Year of Cheer Specialty Washi Tape pack!
