Global Stamping Friends - Special Anniversary Edition!

Hello everyone! Happy Friday! It’s time for a surprise and exciting blog shop from the Global Stamping Friends! This hop is celebrating its one year anniversary and while I only hopping with them for the second time, so far I have enjoyed the variety of projects from around the world!

This special hop theme today is celebrating anniversaries, which is perfect for this special occasion! My husband and I celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary this June and it was great as it was the first time we had been together in two years to celebrate. The military does crazy things and celebrations like anniversaries and birthdays are the last thing on their mind!

For my project I knew that I wanted to use the Colorful Seasons Bundle. This stamp set and coordinating dies are perfect to couple together. The original saying in the stamp set says “May all YOUR tomorrows be as happy as today” but I thought this was the perfect chance to use masking and hide the Y and make it read “May all OUR tomorrows be as happy as today”. I used Work of Art stamp set to create the sandy beach area the chairs are sitting on and the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack to show the wood grain from the chair. The Foil Frenzy Designer Series Paper is a perfect shiny accent on the side! It’s hard to see in the photo, but I also did a mirror stamping technique to the words at the top.
