Global Stamping Friends – Festive Celebrations!

Happy Friday and Happy December 1st to everyone!  It’s the first Friday of the month and time again for the next Global Stampin’ Friends Blog Hop!  

It’s the most wonderful time of the year and time to work on all those Holiday projects! I love holiday crafting (even if it stresses me out every year)!  This time of the year is my busy season with the vendor shows I sign up for.  Last year I signed up for five shows but this year I signed up for three more higher end shows.  My first show was last weekend and by the end of day two, my table was pretty bare! I have another show tomorrow that is two days and another one next week that is also two days.  I’ve been working the past month on projects especially this week on restocking my sold out items!  

For my project this month, I wanted to work with some colors that aren’t considered the traditional Christmas colors of green and red.  I wanted to showcase the Snowflake Sentiments stamp set and coordinating dies.  I love this set.  I used Night of Navy and Very Vanilla but these two colors together make a great Christmas card!  I heat embossed the snowflakes and used clear embossing powder to set the snowflakes and used Night of Navy ink with a Stamping Sponge to color over the snowflakes to make them pop through.  


At the bottom, I heat embossed with silver embossing powder to tie everything together.  See that cute dotted border at the bottom?  Its a die from the coordinating framelits and its an easy way to show some of the Night of Navy to peek through.  This card would be perfect for teaching at a class or something quick to make and send as your Christmas card for the year!
