Its that time of the week…its FRIDAY!! What are your plans for the weekend? My husband will FINALLY have Sunday and Monday off (although he has to work tomorrow…boo!) but we are going to be doing some household good shopping and possibly going to Venice on Monday! We haven’t been able to go yet since he has been working so much but taking the train to Venice sounds like a wonderful plan to escape and explore!
On Saturday I was able to hang out with a few new girls and we did a little shopping in the local area. We visited one of the malls (which I wouldn’t even call a ‘mall’ but lets go with that) and it was nice to meet some new people. They are actually coming over to our house tomorrow for dinner which should be fun!
I met today with my assistant Girl Scout troop leader. I am going to be a leader for Junior Girl Scouts which are in 4th and 5th grades. I had a Daisy (kindergarten and 1st grade) troop back at our last base and needless to say, that wasn’t the best age level for me. I think I am going to enjoy the older girls much more and I can’t wait to explore the area at the same time they are. So far we are planning on doing a sleepover on base, hiking and possibly camping. What wouldn’t be better than camping in the mountains in Italy?!
K/1 is hard. I LOVE 3/4/5 graders! Great age! 🙂 good luck!
