Happy Wednesday everyone! The weekend is halfway over and it’s time for another round of the Colour Combo Monthly Blog Hop!
This month’s colors seem to shift more towards the holiday colors of Mossy Meadow, Poppy Parade and Soft Sea Foam. While I initially had a very hard time trying to come up with a design for these that wasn’t holiday themed, while browsing my stamps I came across one of my favorites Dandelion Wishes which I knew exactly what to do with!
I started with Poppy Parade cardstock base and layered using the Mossy Meadow cardstock. I cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock out and using the Grateful Glass Designer Vellum Sheets and my Stampin’ Blends, I colored the back side of the vellum paper and adhered using my Tombow glue sponged on with a Stampin’ Sponge.
I stamped the dandelions onto Watercolor Paper using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and using my Aqua Painter and Soft Sea Foam ink, I lightly colored in the middle sections of the flowers. I stamped my sentiment in Poppy Parade ink and using the Clear Faceted Dots, I used my Dark Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blend to color the dots a nice dark green color.
