Yesterday was a ‘major’ milestone in the Radloff household as my husband Andrew promoted to the rank of Major in the United States Air Force! My mom and his parents flew done from Iowa, my uncle from San Diego, and one of our Chief Master Sergeant friends from when we lived in Italy were all able to come to this amazing event!
The rank of Major is represented by a gold oak leaf cluster. Of course I created him a card and had to incorporate gold into the design. I searched online and found some great designs that I liked, but wanted to add my own special touch to it. He loved this card when I presented it to him at our fancy dinner last night to celebrate this great achievement!
I used a few retired products on this card but I love sentiment and how I used gold ink on the saying. I used the Simply Scored scoring board to create the score lines and pearl accents in the middle. The gold satin ribbon I had leftover was the perfect addition to the gold glimmer paper! The gold glimmer paper is available from the current catalog!
