2023-2025 In Color Weekly Series

Happy Sunday everyone! Today I’ll be kicking off my 2023-2025 In Color series! I have four projects for this week to showcase with these fun colors that are retiring from the current Annual Catalog!

Every year Stampin’ Up! debuts five new In Colors that are meant to compliment and fill in any gaps we have in our four color families. These colors stay for two years and then retire. This week I wanted to feature these five colors that are retiring at the end of April!

For my card today, I really wanted to highlight Stampin’ Blends and how they can be used in a variety of ways. The alcohol ink technique is so easy to do!

The first step is to take a piece of vellum and scribble onto it using a variety of Stampin’ Blends markers. I used Dark Moody Mauve, Dark Wild Wheat, and Dark Boho Blue for my three colors.

Next, you’ll need 91% rubbing alcohol (it needs to be higher proof) and a cotton ball. Add some alcohol to the cotton ball and ‘dab’ gently in various sections of the vellum. Try not to blend the colors with the ball, let the alcohol do the blending.

Each week, I focus on one bundle or stamp set to design with and I’ll create three different projects during my Facebook Live.
