Happy Sunday stampers! I’m traveling back from Las Vegas today but first it’s time for another month with the Kre8tors Blog Hop group!
This month is all about celebrating Brides and Babies! For my project, I chose to focus on the bride aspect as it’s always nice to have a card ready and on hand for when someone gets married! This month, I highlighted the Wonderful Moments stamp set!
I started my project off with a Gray Granite cardstock base and layered using Petal Pink cardstock. I love Petal Pink which doesn’t fall into my normal Brights color family I tend to gravitate towards!
Isn’t that silver paper amazing?! It’s the new Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper from the new Holiday Catalog that just debuted! I used a Stampin’ Sponge and Petal Pink ink to fill in the white sections of the paper and the silver foil resists the ink!
I added more of the frost paper but in the dotted pattern on top and stamped my bride in Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Using my light Soft Suede, Light Petal Pink, and Light Purple Posey Stampin’ Blends I colored her in and cut her out with the Stitched Shape dies. I stamped my sentiment in Highland Heather ink and colored the Silver Metallic Edged ribbon with Dark Petal Pink Stampin’ Blend!

Beautiful card. The silver foil paper has come up beautiful sponged in colour.
Although we used the same stampset, out cards are so different! I love the way you used the paper and your subtle coloring!
