Happy Wednesday crafters! It’s the first Wednesday of the month and time for another month with the Inspire, Create & Share Blog Hop group!
With September comes the falling temperatures and leaves and the crisp feel of fall to the air…that is for everyone else who doesn’t live in Arizona! It still 100+ degrees outside here but in my house, its decorated with pumpkins and ready for fall!
Our theme this month is all about fabulous fall projects and for mine, I wanted to highlight the Colorful Seasons stamp set and coordinating dies. I saw this beautiful card in the Annual catalog and I knew I wanted to CASE (Copy and Share Everything)!
I started my project off with a Crumb Cake cardstock base and layered using Watercolor Paper. I picked up Crushed Curry ink with my Aqua Painter to create the watercolor wash in the background and used my Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write Marker to ‘flick’ the ink onto the paper once dried.
I love the way the leaves turned out! I stamped and cut them out with Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, and Crushed Curry inks. The two die cut leaves were cut using the See a Silhouette Designer Series Paper! The pigmented paper makes the leaves just pop!
