August 2019 Kre8tors Hop: A Color Challenge!

Happy Sunday stampers!  It’s a lazy Sunday morning here in Tucson and it’s time for another month with the Kre8tors Blog Hop group!

I love color challenges and this month’s theme is right up my alley.  We were tasked with using this farm landscape to inspire our projects.  I wanted to pull Gray Granite, Petal Pink, and Highland Heather from the photo to complete my project as well as a stamp that is perfect for the farm photo, Ride with Me.

I started my project off with a Gray Granite cardstock base and layered with Whisper White cardstock that I stamped using the Buffalo Check stamp set inked in Petal Pink.  I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies and Highland Heather cardstock to layer my truck and stamped the truck in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

Who said you can’t have a purple truck?! I colored the truck in with the Light Highland Heather Stampin’ Blend marker as well as the Light and Dark Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends markers.  I stamped the hearts with Petal Pink and my sentiment in Gray Granite.  To finish the project off, I used the Whisper White Mesh Polka Dot ribbon!

Make sure to continue on with our hop to see all the other great projects.  Next up is Sue McDonald!  Her blog can be found HERE or by clicking the next button below!
