Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop – Sentimental Rose

Happy Tuesday everyone!  The month is flying by and it’s time for another hop with the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities group!

This month’s Paper Pumpkin is showcasing Stampin’ Up’s Disinktive style of stamps.  These stamps offer realistic images when stamped and are so beautiful!  This month’s kit is called Sentimental Rose and I couldn’t wait to craft with it when my kit arrived.

For my project this month, I wanted to use everything from the kit but create an alternate project.  I wanted to challenge myself to use exactly what the kit comes with and to showcase how these kits don’t need too many extra supplies to create different and beautiful projects!

The only extras I added to this card was the Calypso Coral ribbon and Calypso Coral ink  for the sentiment and Mint Macaron for the leaves!  I used the So Saffron printed base and stamped using the Gray Granite Stampin’ Spot that came with the box.  I layered the leaves stamped in Mint Macaron and used some of the punched out pieces layered together to create a different sentiment piece.

Isn’t that Mint Macaron embellishment cute?! I wish we could order full packages of those but they came exclusively in the box as well!  To finish off my project I used the Calypso Coral 3/8″ Satin Ribbon.
May’s kit looks to be even better when Shelli Gardner, founder of Stampin’ Up, creates her own uniquely designed box!  Check out this sneak peek video below and subscribe to the kit by May 10th by clicking HERE!
