February 2019 Kre8tors Blog Hop: Valentine’s Day!

Happy Sunday!  I hope your weekend is wonderful and it’s time for another hop with the Kre8tors Blog Hop team!

It’s the month of love and this month’s theme is just that!  While I love Valentine’s Day, I feel like everyone should be showing their love to each other every single day!  For my project this month, I wanted to use the Humming Along bundle!
While it’s hard to see in the photo, I used the Whisper White Notecards to start with as my base.  The Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper is the perfect background paper for a beautiful splash of color.  Using the Stitched Shapes Framelets I cut out a circle using Blushing Bride cardstock.

I stamped the flower in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored it in with both the Dark and the Light colors of Lovely Lipstick, Granny Apple Green, and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends markers.  Using the Classic Label Punch, I cut out the sentiment that I had stamped in Granny Apple Green ink and used the Glitter Enamel Dots on each side.

Make sure to continue on with our hop to see all the other great projects.  Next up is Jo Blackman!  Her blog can be found HERE or by clicking the next button below!

  3. gorgeous colour and fantastic blending. I am curious, did it take long? do you start with light or dark? My shading is always all over the place. Your card is beautiful.
