Ink, Stamp Share Blog Hop January 2019

Happy weekend readers!  Yesterday was my birthday and I spent a wonderful day with my husband seeing a movie and the evening with my friends at a hockey game.  It was a great day.  Now that the weekend is here, I’m excited to join this new monthly blog hop, the Ink, Stamp, and Share Hop!

This month’s hop is all about the Occasions catalog!  This new catalog runs from now until May 31st and is full of amazing new products ranging from stamps, paper, and punches.

For my project this month, I wanted to focus on a mix of items from the Occasions catalog and Annual catalog.  Creating masculine cards can sometimes be difficult to do so I wanted to use the new Geared Up Garage Bundle to create a card.
This card is perfect to share at a class or or a simple stamper to create.  I started with a Basic Black cardstock base layered with Whisper White cardstock.  Isn’t that foil paper amazing?!  That is the Copper Foil Sheets and it looks amazing embossed with the Tin Tile Textures Impressions Embossing Folder and is such an easy technique to create an amazing background image.

Next I stamped the car using Tuxedo Black Memento ink pad on Whisper White cardstock and die cut it with the car die from the coordinating bundle.  Using the Poppy Parade Light Stampin’ Blends marker.  The color just pops against that copper paper!  I stamped the sentiment using the same black ink and free cut the flag end to finish off the card.

  1. Happy Birthday! I love your masculine card, and the Tin Tile Dynamic TIEF totally works with this card! It is one of my absolute favorite embossing folders and looks so beautiful with the foil papers. Thanks so much for sharing your creativity with us!
