For this month's theme, we are focusing on those extra special girls in our lives and creating projects that scream girly! This month, I wanted to highlight the Oh So Eclectic stamp set. I love the range and possibilities with this set and coordinating dies and how it can be used for multiple occasions.
I knew when I saw the theme for this month I wanted to incorporate the retiring 2016-2018 In Colors of Flirty Flamingo and Sweet Sugarplum. I used the geometric die to cut a panel out on the Whisper White cardstock and used a piece of Blushing Bride cardstock to make it peek through the back. I stamped the flowers and used White Embossing Powder to heat set the image and picked up color with my Aqua Painter from Flirty Flamingo ink and Sweet Sugarplum to color in the flowers.
For the ribbon, I used my Light Pink Pirouette Stampin' Blends Pen and colored directly onto the Silver Metallic Edged ribbon (my new favorite technique!). I used the Colorful Seasons stamp set for the sentiment and inked it using the Sweet Sugarplum ink pad and brought a little sparkle in with the Clear Faceted Gems. This card is great for any occasion and would be a lovely birthday card!
