Stampin’ Up Display Stamper Audition

It’s almost the weekend and I’m so very excited to share my projects for the Stampin’ Up Display Stamper audition!  Two times a year Stampin’ Up has their convention called On Stage, and they ask for Demonstrators to submit work to create projects with new supplies at the event.  I hope that you enjoy my projects as I put a lot of love and effort into these (of course like I always do for all my projects)!

The call was to create two 3D projects, three cards, and one scrapbook page.  Let’s start with the 3D projects!

Since my style tends to shift towards bold colors, I love the color combination of Lemon Lime Twist, Bermuda Bay, and Berry Burst.  This gift card bag can be used for any occasion to show your friends how special they are to you.

For this project, I used the Mini Treat Bag die and highlighted the Eastern Beauty stamp set with the Eastern Medallion coordinating framelits.  For the diamond, I used the Eclectic Layers framelits with the Fine Tip glue pen to adhere it. In the center I used one of my favorite new embellishments, the Silver Faceted Gems.

My next 3D project I wanted to highlight the Wooden Crate framelit.  I used the die with Very Vanilla card stock to create a crate and embossed it with the Woodlands Textured Embossing Folder.  I sponged it with Powder Pink ink and wrapped it in the Basic Washi Pack #3 blue washi tape, and stamped using the Label Me Pretty set in Calypso Coral and Basic Gray.

I love the new Tranquil Tulips hostess stamp set and stamped two tulips in Wisteria Wonder and Calypso Coral, one stem in Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive, and the poppy is from the Oh So Eclectic set in Peekaboo Peach and Calypso Coral.

Creating scrapbook pages is something I rarely work in and creating this was a challenge for me but I think this turned out great!  My husband promoted to Major in the United States Air Force at the end of May and I knew I wanted to showcase the photo of our families plus the two Air Force members that were in the ceremony with him.

Next are the three cards I designed.  I used the Tranquil Tulips set again on this one make sure to create some dimension with Stampin’ Dimensionals on the tulips.  While it doesn’t show up well in the photo, I used Wink of Stella clear glitter brush on the tulip pop ups to give it a little glimmer.

This Bike Ride stamp set is one of my favorites from the new catalog and I was very excited to win this at the On Stage event in April!  I used Island Indigo to stamp the frame of the bike and Basic Gray for the wheels.  I cut them out using the Build a Bike framelits.  For the basket, I cut that out using the Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper and sponged it with So Saffron ink.

My last project to share took the longest to create but its my favorite one!  This card has a lot of elements to it.  I water colored the background using four colors: Fresh Fig, Rich Razzleberry, Berry Burst, and Rose Red (in that order from left to right).  The colors blend well from purple to red.

I used the Seasonal Layers dies and Colorful Seasons stamp set to create the sentiment, stamp and cut the flowers, and cut the branch.  The branch uses the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack and the background is the Foil Frenzy Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.

Thank you for sticking around until the end to read all about my projects! I look forward to hearing if I made the cut as a Display Stamper and crossing my fingers to share my projects with other Demonstrators!
