February 2020 Kre8tors Hop: Love & Romance!

Happy Sunday everyone!  While the weekend may be almost over, first it's time for another month with the Kre8tors Blog Hop group!

Love is in the air this month and our theme this month is all about love and romance!  For my project this month, I wanted to highlight our Heartfelt Bundle which has quickly become one of my favorites from the January-June Mini Catalog!

I love this (see what I did there!) project and the way it turned out!  This card is great for all skill levels to create and anyone can make it.  I started with a Whisper White cardstock base and layered with Real Red cardstock.  I stamped my hearts in Flirty Flamingo ink and used one of the Heart Doilies for a little texture.  The coordinating punch works perfect to punch out the sentiment and the From My Heart Faceted Gems add just the perfect amount of bling!

Make sure to continue on with our hop to see all the other great projects.  Next up is Jan Musselman!  Her blog can be found HERE or by clicking the next button below!

ICS Blog Hop - Power of Hope!

Happy Wednesday everyone!  February is here and it's time for another month with the Inspire, Create, and Share Blog Hop!

This month's theme is all about creating projects to show those that we are thinking about them.  For my stamp set to highlight, I went with a set that can be earned for FREE during Sale-A-Bration called Power of Hope bundle!

I started my project off with a Crumb Cake cardstock base and embossed it with the Stone Embossing Folder.  This folder comes bundled together with the stamp set.  What a great deal!

Isn't that Designer Series Paper beautiful?! That is the Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper.  It has a very pretty silver design embedded on it and it's great for a variety of occasions.  To finish my project, I used the Petal Pink Organdy Striped Ribbon.

We Create Have a Heart

Happy February crafters!  It's a new month and time for another hop with the We Create Bloggers!
No photo description available.
With February comes the month of love and this month our projects are just that!  We are celebrating all things hearts and for my project I decided to do two treat packages using the Heartfelt Bundle and coordinating From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper!

Valentine's Day is the perfect holiday to create treat packaging.  I started off with the Kraft Pillow Boxes and using an oval punch, I made a little handle.  I wrapped the designer series paper around the package.  A little scalloped circle with Real Red cardstock, a heart punched out with the scalloped heart punch from the designer paper and a sentiment, this is a perfect gift for any friend!

Another quick and easy treat package is to cover a lollipop!  I used Flirty Flamingo cardstock and Flirty Flamingo ink to stamp the heart.  A little fussy cutting and you have the perfect heart!

Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop - I'll Bee Yours

Happy Tuesday crafters!  I can't believe that January is almost over and it's time for another month with the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop group!

Love is in the air with this month's kit as we celebrate Valentine's Day with this cute bee themed kit!

I am loving this months kit and it's coordinating colors of Mint Macaron, Highland Heather, Crushed Curry, and Rococo Rose!  For my project this month, I wanted to use all those colors along with doing a watercolor wash for a background.

Isn't it beee-utiful!  I started my project off with a Mint Macaron cardstock base and layered using Crushed Curry cardstock.  Next using watercolor paper and Rococo Rose reinker paired with my Aqua Painter, I taped off the edges using washi tape to ensure I had a crisp line and create the square image.

Once dried, the washi tape peels of easily to reveal the nice lines!

Other than the heart punch, Rococo Rose ink, and Highland Heather ink pad, everything else was from the kit.  I love how easily the kits can be altered with just a few additional items!

February's kit looks to be even better when Paper Pumpkin and Stampin' Up are pairing up to bring us cards that coordinate with the Happy Birthday to You stamp set from Sale-A-Bration!  Subscribe to the kit by February 10th by clicking HERE!
